Can Twilight Shepherd return itself to my hand?

Can I sacrifice Twilight Shepherd, let it persist back to the battlefield, then sacrifice it again with it's ETB on the stack to get it back along with any other cards that were put in my graveyard this turn?
Pretty sure I can, "all cards in your graveyard put there from play this turn" is checked on resolution, right?

This will work for the reason you stated. The ability will determine on resolution which cards will be returned.
