Can i use Frenzied Goblin to target my own creature?

is it an illegal maneuver to target one of my own heroic creatures whist attacking with Frenzied Goblin and using is ability?

No, since Frenzied Goblin 's ability doesn't specify "creature you don't control" or "creature an opponent controls."

Note, however, that abilities can't trigger heroic. Heroic abilities explicitly state that they trigger on spells casts.
