Can I choose artifact creature with Urza's Incubator?

When casting [[Urza's Incubator], can I pick "artifact" for the type of creature? I just want to make sure that is a valid choice.

Artifact is not a creature type, so you can't choose it with the Incubator.

Artifact is a card type. For Urza's Incubator , you have to choose a valid creature subtype (Elf, Dragon, Beast, Warrior, etc.).
