how do you get the playtest option on tapped out to actually work

The playtest page opens but nothing happens after that. Am I doing something wrong or is it broken or do I have to fill something out do I have to have friends on tapped out to play?

Sometimes it fails to load as well, hitting refresh works, but it might also be the browser.

I have been having the same issue with my iPad. The computer works fine though. But my iPad don't wanna load for shit.
