Hey all,

I wrote up a primer for one of my decks, with formatting such as spoilers and panels, and when I pasted it from my Doc into the deck description, it came up with an error saying "one unopened panel". I doubled checked everything, and everything seemed to be okay. Here's my code:

Hello, and welcome to my primer for Angelhorde Invasion!

===accordion
===panel: Introduction

This deck is based around casting creatures and getting value from [[God-Eternal Oketra]] and pumping them all up with lords. It is meant for casual EDH/Commander play and is a relatively budget deck. I don’t want anything above 10 USD unless I already own the card or there is a good reason for it to be in the deck (eg [[Ancient Tomb]] is needed as White really needs extra mana and I already have the card from my Dad’s old collection).

The general strategy is to ramp out [[God-Eternal Oketra]] and cast a bunch of creatures such as [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] and [[Archangel of Thune]] to get a bunch of token value, then pump them up with lords such as [[Benalish Marshal]] and [[Cathars’ Crusade]]. In the case where I can’t get Oketra out, I can still beatdown with good value creatures and use manasinks to pump out both tokens and +1/+1 counters.

===endpanel

===panel: Why Mono-White?

I chose Mono-White for a few reasons:

- The first is that I wanted to consistently cast [[God-Eternal Oketra]], so I had to have her as my Commander.

- I wanted this to be a relatively budget deck, and the best way to do that is to cut down on the number of colours in a deck, as manabases are very expensive.

===endpanel

===panel: Strengths

- There are many combos that can just win the game outright.

===endpanel

===panel: Weaknessess

- White lacks card draw that isn’t based on artifacts and/or really, really expensive.

===endpanel

===panel: Combos and Synergies

This part is a work in progress, I haven’t played this deck enough to figure out all the combos and synergies.

---

- [[God-Eternal Oketra]] + any card in the “Bounce” Category + mana = Instant Army™

- [[Burnished Hart]] + [[Emeria Shepherd]] + mana = more mana and permenant recursion

- [[Bishop of Wings]] or [[Requiem Angel]] + [[Divine Visitation]] = Angels that can never die (unless you remove one or two of the two combo pieces)

===endpanel

===spoiler: Card Choices

This explains why I put each card in my deck. It will be split into the custom categories that I have put the deck in.

===panel: Lands and Ramp

This part is pretty standard, with some ramp, lands, and [[Tithe]] and [[Land Tax]] to get land drop consistency.

===endpanel

===Panel: Lords

- Although [[Angel of Jubilation]] doesn’t give +1/+1 to all my Zombie Warriors, she still gives the bonus to my other creatures and stops other people from paying life or sacrificing creatures to cast spells.

- Even with the removal of most of my Lifegain package, [[Archangel of Thune]] still has its uses. I still have [[Suture Priest]], [[Auriok Champion]], and my Angel Subtheme and [[Lyra Dawnbringer]], so there are still ways I can gain life.

- [[Benalish Marshal]] is a lord for three mana that also gives three devotion.

- [[Cathars’ Crusade]] is one of the best cards for creature decks, as it allows you to pump your team for doing nothing but what your gameplan is, casting creatures.

- [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] is an Angel Lord and is an efficient beatstick.

- [[Spear of Heliod]] provides a lord effect and can deter people from attacking me.

===endpanel

===panel: Multiple Oketras!

- I put [[Helm of the Host]] in its own special category because I love the card when I attach it to my commander or some of my other creatures (like [[Admonition Angel]] or [[Emeria Shepherd]]) because it gives so much value and gives me so much satisfaction that I get 2 more Oketras a turn with [[Anointed Procession]].

===endpanel

===panel: Utility and Card Draw

- I use [[Adarkar Valkyrie]] when I want to make sure my commander or any other important creature doesn’t die; it’s like regeneration on a stick. And the best part is, the Angel has vigilance, so I can both attack with it and use its tap power.

- [[Aegis of the Gods]] is a simple value creature that gives temporary protection from Burn and hand reveal cards such as [[Thoughtseize]].

- [[Alms Collector]] stops other people from drawing huge amounts of cards, and gives me some too!

- [[Bishop of Wings]] supports my Angel subtheme by letting me gain life whenever an Angel enters and makes a Spirit whenever an Angel dies. It has a combo with [[Divine Visitation]], which allows me to make an Angel whenever an Angel dies.

- [[Blind Obediance]] allows my deck to catch up to other decks by making all their creatures and artifacts enter the battlefield tapped. It also allows me to extort to get extra value out of my spells.

- [[Emeria Shepherd]] gives me recursion whenever I play a land. Because most of my lands are Plains, the Shepherd usually returns the permenant to the battlefield. It combos with [[Burnished Hart]].

- [[Endless Atlas]] allows me to draw a card for only two mana if I have three or more lands with the same name, which is pretty easy to get, considering that this is a Mono-White deck.

- [[Enlightened Tutor]] allows me to search for an artifact or enchantment such as [[Cathars’ Crusade]], [[Helm of the Host]] or [[Anointed Procession]].

- [[Grand Abolisher]] stops other people from doing stuff on my turn and gives two devotion for two mana.

- Previously a card that I had overlooked, [[Odric, Lunarch Marshal]] gives my guys Double Strike if [[God-Eternal Oketra]] is out, and Vigilance if one of her Zombie Warriors are out.

- [[Oketra’s Monument]] makes my creatures cost less and gives me extra value for casting creatures.

- [[Reqiuem Angel]] gives me extra value in the form of creature tokens whenever one of my non-Spirit creatures dies. It, like with a bunch of other cards, forms a combo with [[Divine Visitation]].

- [[Slate of Ancestry]] allows me to refill my hand with a bunch of cards when I have run out of gas.

===endpanel

===panel: Removal and Boardwipes

- [[Admonition Angel]] is simply removal on a stick. The best way to play with a Admonition out on the board is if you’ve got nothing you want to remove, then just leave lands in your hand until you do.

- [[Angel of Sanctions]] is just removal on a creature that can you can recur from the graveyard using its embalm ability. You can also use it with any of the “Bounce” creatures to return it to your hand and remove something more important than what you removed before.

- [[Austere Command]] is my only boardwipe because my deck relies alot on creatures, artifacts, and enchantments.

- [[Banishing Light]] is simply an enchantment that removes any non-land permanent.

- I really like [[Cast Out]] because it has flash and the ability to cycle it for another card when you don’t need it. All that for just one extra mana than a usual [[Oblivion Ring]].

- [[Cavalier of Dawn]] is good, as when it enters, you get to [[Generous Gift]] something, and on the way out, you get to recur an artifact or enchantment.

- [[Darksteel Mutation]] is really good when you want to deactivate a commander or another creature that gets returned if it hits the graveyard.

- [[Path to Exile]] and [[Swords to Plowshares]] both exile a pesky creature and give their controller a small reparation for doing so. [[Reparations|Sorry I killed your *insert big creature here*, here’s some life]].

- [[Return to Dust]] is simply artifact/enchantment removal.

===endpanel

===panel: Protection

- [[Eight-and-a-half-Tails]] gives my guys protection from targeted removal and gives two devotion.

- [[Lightning Greaves]] and [[Swiftfoot Boots]] do the same thing, except one gives shroud and one gives hexproof.

- [[Selfless Spirit]] protects my creatures from things like removal and boardwipes.

- [[Unbreakable Formation]] protects my guys and can pump them up when I am about to do a major attack.

===endpanel

===panel: Value Creatures

- [[Archangel of Tithes]] is an Angel, and taxes people for attacking me when she’s untapped, and taxes people from blocking when it attacking.

- [[Auriok Champion]] is one of the two cards remaining from my removed lifegain package. The reason why I kept it in is because it has extra value apart from gaining life (Protection from Red and Black and 2 devotion to [[symbol:W]] for two mana).

- [[Aven Mindcensor]] is good because it stops people from getting the consistency that tutoring provides in a singleton format, and even if someone did steal it off me, it wouldn’t really matter because I only have 4 cards that tutor cards, 3 of which tutor lands.

- Even though [[Brightling]] has the ability to bounce itself, I only use it in emergencies where I can’t do anything else, as it’s expensive, costing [[symbol:1]][[symbol:W]][[symbol:W]][[symbol:W]] to bounce it and cast it again, without a cost reducer out.

- I usually just use [[Karmic Guide]] for the Oketra trigger and the recursion and don’t pay the Echo cost unless I don’t have anything else to do or I need the Protection from Black.

- I have already talked about [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] in the “Lords” section, so I won’t repeat myself here.

- The other Oketra card, [[Oketra the True]] is a good Manasink and a 3/6 Indestructible Double Strike.

 - [[Resplendent Angel]] is a good value creature, giving a 3/3 flyer with a bunch of other text and two devotion. [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] and Resplendent form a combo.

- [[Suture Priest]] punishes my opponents for play creatures and allows me to gain life every time a creature enters.

- [[Thalia, Heretic Cathar]] slows my opponents down and gives a 3/2 First Strike.

- [[Tithe Taker]] makes all my opponents spend extra to do anything on my turn.

===endpanel

===panel: Bounce

- [[Eiganjo Free-Riders]] makes me return a white creature I control to my hand, allowing me cast stuff for extra value again and again, again and again, again and again…

- [[Emancipation Angel]], [[Kor Skyfisher]], [[Stonecloaker]], and [[Whitemane Lion]] all do the same thing; getting extra Zombies by bouncing itself back into my hand to cast again. Rinse and Repeat to create an Instant Army™.

- [[Stormfront Riders]] is the payoff for all the bounce shenanigans, allowing me to create tokens every time I bounce something.

===endpanel

===panel: Tokens

- [[Anointed Procession]] doubles all my tokens, from the Zombie Warriors I create with my commander to the Soldiers I create with [[Stormfront Riders]].

- [[Divine Visitation]] makes all my creature tokens turn into 4/4 Angels with Flying and Vigilance. It has a combo with [[Bishop of Wings]] and goes with my Angel subtheme.

- I’ve already talked about [[Oketra the True]] (in “Value Creatures”), [[Oketra’s Monument]] (in “Utility and Card Draw”), and [[Requiem Angel]] (also in “Utility and Card Draw”) elsewhere, so I won’t talk about them here.

Thanks for taking a look. Hope you liked it!

Can anyone find the error?

Thanks,

There is a uppercase P in your "===Panel: Lords". It has to be lowercase.
