Planechase, Planeswalker, and Vanguard: Why are they still there?

Back in 2015, WotC removed a whole bunch of formats (e.g., tribal, prismatic, singleton, etc) and play styles (e.g., 4+ players, 2 headed giant, emperor) from MTGO. I recall that one of the reasons was that such formats/styles did not see much play online and were very challenging for the staff to keep updated.

However, they still offer Planechase, Planeswalker, and Freeform Vanguard on MTGO. Does anyone know why those formats were not removed? Is it a low maintenance thing? Are they planning on releasing new products related to those formats?

Planechase has always been so bugged (currently, you can't even roll the planar die) that baffles me why wotc would keep it there...
