Pre-release Trading Etiquette?

Basically, my first pre-release, is there anything I should know about when and what is allowed? I.e., I want Mardu cards, have some Sultai colors, do I need to wait until after?

I'd wait until after the tournament no matter what.even if you aren't planning to use the cards you get in the trade. You never know when someone will get salty after you beat them and claim you traded for the cards in your deck. It happened to me once. Luckily the guy i traded with vouched for me but still also in cases of theft it's good to know what you pulled. Again if i wasn't vouched for, I'd have been banned from the place [it was my first time being there hence why i was targeted] I just caution you to pay it safe

You can't ever trade cards from or for your sealed pool unless explicitly permitted by the event rules, and only a few kinds of Limited events rule that you may.

You can only use what you pulled in your sealed pool for the event, no exceptions. The six packs you get are the six packs you get to work with. Trading for cards to use for the tournament is considered cheating and results in a DQ where I play.
That said, trading can occur between rounds and after the event, as long as you're not going to use those cards for the tournament.
