Draft Preferences (what's your set?)

Got 8 friends and a house with a few tables? Then go get a booster box cuz it's time to draft.

Tappedout, What is your favorite set to Draft and why? Is it Simple, complicated, broken?... what be your preference.

It's interesting the difference between overall good sets, and good/fun sets to draft.

Some ground rules:

-Assume we're Drafting for the fun of it, not just drafting to collect standard cards. -Exclude Sets that have a rediculous price tag (I'm looking at you Eldrazi and Modern Masters...)

Modern Masters, just cause it's all these great cards in great synergies and mixtures (goblin faeries, giant artificers, milling to affinity and beyond! as some of the oddball ones, besides the built in stuff). I really just enjoy, sitting back in a group of 8 and drafting out a box.

Moved to Limited.

If we disregard every set that's $250-300+, we won't be left with many options.

IF it's under, I didn't read that, I enjoy M14, but MM is the best for me.

Theros has been my favorite set to draft with so far

I liked Theros at first a lot, but it's starting to bore me. Most people end up just drafting a voltron-aggro deck, so it gets bland. But I don't hate it.

Favorite right now would be Dragon's Maze - Gatecrash - Return to Ravnica. Very fun block.

Kamigawa Block isn't bad, Time Spiral-Planar Chaos-Future Sight is a lot of fun, RtR Block is great, with Modern Masters and Unhinged/Unglued being my three favorites.
