What ethnicity is Liliana Vess?

I've always thought she was some sort of Egyptian or African. Please help to settle a dispute with friends.

Is there canonical support for that, though? The real world is pretty far removed from the multiverse. I know MaRo posted that response, but I'd still like to see some kind of evidence to validate it. Her card depictions tend to lend more to the idea that she's white than anything else.

Canonically none of the characters in mtg belong to real world ethnic groups, but it is clear the concepts of many characters were created with a certain ethnicity in mind.
We might look at Urza as being white but canonically his ethnicity is Tersiarian (or whatever subpopulation he belongs to).

Arabian Nights and Portal: Three Kingdoms are the only sets based on real-world settings and events. Liliana appears in neither, and her story doesn't make mention of the settings of those sets.
I'm pretty sure she's white.
