Perfect fits not a "perfect fit"

I'm sleeving up my EDH deck in new dragon shields and my perfect fits aren't exactly a "perfect fit" and I'm just wondering if this is normal for brand spanking new sleeves and if maybe the cards need to stretch the sleeve out a bit by being inside them for a day or so?

Yeah I found this to be kind of odd because when I put the perfect fits on my other EDH deck, and even this one that already had dragon shields on them they fit just fine, but the other deck has been played with regularly and this new deck had been in the other colored sleeves for a decent amount of time so I'm just thinking the new sleeves are a little tight because of them being new shrug.

Tolerencing, unfortunately, is a thing, so when the sleeves are manufactured they're actually all within a certain range of sizes the the manufacturing engineer deemed acceptable. It's the job of quality assurance to spot check the plant's output to see if there's too many not-to-spec products coming off the line. Noone's perfect, so it looks like you got one of the ones that they missed.

I use perfect fits and Dragon Shields and have not experienced this problem yet. If your cards aren't fitting properly, try sleeving some junk cards in your Dragon Shields and shuffling them for a while to break them in.
