Mirror Entity = Wall ?

A question about Mirror Entity's abilities.

Its first ability is Changeling, which grants it every creature type at all times: in hand, on the battlefield, in graveyard. "Wall" is a creature type, and Walls are known for not being able to attack. Does this mean that Mirror Entity cannot attack?

Likewise, its second ability grants every creature under its controller's control every creature type until the end of turn. Does this mean that, when the second ability is used, all creatures under Mirror Entity's controller's control are granted the wall creature type and cannot attack?

I've had the Mirror Entity card for about a year now, and it just hit me that "Wall" is a possible creature type.

The "wall" creature type used to be the part of the rules that made walls not attack. Now, with the introduction of 'defender' there is a creature ability which prevents walls from attacking. Walls that CAN by contrast, attack situationally, do so by losing defender.

A creature who gains the creature type "wall" does not necessarily gain the ability "defender"
