It's black. It's the box that holds 2 decks

A friend use to decorate his deck box by gluing cards on it. As some point the thing was worth some thousand.... Gluing moxes is a bad idea

If you have two favorite "characters" in magic you could someone to paint a fight scene on it with one half being one and the other half being the other. Or if you know what decks you are putting in it you could do a similar idea using the main cards of each deck. the paint used for doing alter art cards should work. but you might want to get something to cover it. I had my ultra pro binder painted by someone that does alters near me.

I make deck boxes out of empty booster boxes. Dragon's Maze looks really slick. Never done alterations to a plastic box though. I imagine that acrylic would work well, just be sure to cover it up with some sort of clear coat.

Clear packing tape works pretty well as a clear/protective coat, believe it or not. Just be sure to do it right the first time.

A friend of mind cuts out art from various inexpensive cards, as well as those advertisement cards that come in every pack, and tapes them down in interlacing patterns. The boxes she makes are awesome. Lastly, don't forget to leave some room on the back around the "hinge".

Who knows if acrylic would be washable??

When you say "washable", do you mean "can I remove it with water and/or soap"?

If so, yes, but it'll take a couple attempts. If you meant "wash without it coming off", just be gentle & it should be alright.

OK then. I'm terrible at painting but I'll find something!
