Chrome Extension for card prices

General forum

Hey all,

I posted this last week in the Online forum, but didn't get quite as much feedback as I would have liked (thanks to those who did comment!). Sorry for the repost.

I recently built an extension for Google Chrome that adds card prices to Gatherer, so that you don't have to open multiple windows when browsing cards.

I really apologize for the shameless plug but the reason I post this here is that the extension is really new and I'd love to get feedback from the supportive T/O community on how I can make it better. Rest assured that this is purely a hobby and I am not making any money from it, and any requests or suggestions that you have for me will be taken very seriously.

Click HERE to install the extension.

Thank you so much! I hope you like it :)

What prices are you using?

@Rasta_Viking29 they are pulled from http://www.tcgplayer.com/ which aggregates prices over many different sellers (hence the High, Low, and Median prices)

@Rasta_Viking29 Google has not yet added support for any extensions on mobile chrome. Once they do, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

@ChiefBell actually it is mean, I misspoke before. Sorry!

@all thank you so much for the compliments! Please let me know if you find any bugs so I can fix them :) and if you like it, I would really appreciate 5 stars on the chrome store!

what about a version for europeans, in euros and fetching from www.magiccardmarket.com?

@ampos thank you for your suggestion!

I looked into using magiccardmarket but unfortunately it doesn't look like they have an API (Application Programming Interface) for developers like me to use.

What if I still pulled from TCGplayer, but converted the prices to Euros using currency conversion? Do you think that would still be useful for Europeans like you?

Can you "print" the prices in $ and ? Perhaps just multipliying $ x 0.75:

card: 10$ (7.5)

I just wanted to say... I love you... I have spent too much time looking up cards on the gatherer and copy and paste to find the prices. So for that you are awesome.
