Did anyone hear that the owner of 1996 World Champion took the card to work at a paper shredding facility to show some buddies and when standing in the warehouse a gust of wind blew through the warehouse and blew the card into a paper shredding machine?

That sounds awful, but I have a bit of skepticism in its truthfulness. A "paper-shredding-facility"? Don't know of many of those around. Perhaps this simply shows my ignorance, but I don't know of any entire facilities that are dedicated to paper-shredding. Also warehouses don't typically have a lot of wind. Though if it is true, then this guy was probably not the brightest bulb in the box. That's a card you say, hey if you want to see this card you can stop by my house later and look at it in it's air-tight case standing behind a thick pane of bullet-proof glass.

The only copy of that card is encased in lucite and was sold in 2001 to a collector.

Well, that really blows.
That would really shred a guy's mood, definitely...
... Hang on a sec, the 1996 World Champion states that it can't be the target of spells or abilities, thats an illegal play by the paper shredding machine.
