How to cary your deck boxes

Inspired by Calling all owners of the Power Nine Dragon's Egg this thread, I'm interested in how people carry their deck boxes around. personally I find a backpack to be perfectly fine and have never had issues, sleeved cards in either deck boxes or fat pack boxes, with a binder, generally enough to fit snuggly. if my bag isn't really full I'll tape the fatpack boxes closed (I don't care about their condition too much, I don't mind rebuying a fat pack every so often, though I'll eventually get a more reliable case).
anyone use something like the dragons egg, or another magic-specific transport?
has anyone had any problems with any specific modes of transport, or know of any reasons why not to just throw your deck boxes into a backpack (assuming sleeved cards comfortably but snuggly fit into a deck box)?
does anyone have a good way to get around a holiday gift box? I noticed someone commenting to take out the lining from an ultra-pro case, wondering if that's the best I can get.
I really only transport stuff from my house to the car and then to where ever I'm going, so I don't need complex bags. I did recently complete a Ravnica cube, so I'm at a loss on how to store that thing...

Messenger bag... Works great if I don't have a ton of binders :)

RoarMaster: I believe I may have something similar to that made by the company rusted friend.

I use a jansport backpack, but have had some deck boxes crushed. Never enough to have any damage to the cards inside. This is probably because I just use cheap ultra pro deck boxes.

I have this laptop bag (much like a messenger bag) that holds two 550-card cardboard boxes (holding a little over 400 sleeved cards each) neatly in two rows, with room for one 100-card sleeved deck (in a box) and two boxes of Dragonshield sleeves (which hold a sleeved deck each - 60 cards + 15 for sideboard).
Additionally, I can fit two rolled-up playmats, dice, and a few other small things. On the outside is a front pocket that holds a 20-page (double-sided) binder with trades and such.
It's a bit heavy, just over 1000 sleeved cards, plus maybe another 100 or so in the binder, but it's a very nice compact and organized setup.

I just have a backpack, nothing special :)
I have seen many people with the Messenger's Bags, they are pretty sweet.

I like the idea of a laptop bag I think. I could imagine one having a few excess pockets for dice and other miscellaneous things.

My set up is this bag, I don't know what kind of bag it is (messenger bag?)

This bag allows me to fit 3 fatpack boxes inside (+2 deck boxes on top if I need too)

Which I can fit 3 Legion Art Deck Boxes into, perfectly

Which fits a 100 single sleeved commander deck

It works out pretty great for me. My only complaint I have for this bag is that I can't fit any deck box into the side pockets because they're too small. I could definitely see myself upgrading in the future.

I use a very basic messenger bag (nylon, one storage area) for my Magic travel bag. It holds one binder, which is important to give it some rigidity, up to two deckbuilders toolkit boxes which I keep my 60-card decks in and up to four commander-size boxes. I guess I could hold 3-4 deckbulders toolkit boxes if I had no commander-size boxes. There is also room leftover for my playmat and dicebag. I love the deckbulders flap boxes and hate the 2-part fat-pack boxes.
It initially wore holes quickly, stress areas in the corners, but I patched them ruggedly with heavy material, stitching, and glue. After two years or so, a new hole has torn due to strap stresses. I might patch that today.

I carry 4 60 card decks plus sideboards in my Dragons Egg, and carry that in a small backpack. Seems to work great for me.

I know this is slightly old, but I recently went to IKEA and picked up a pretty neat messenger style bag for about $20.00. It's got room for a fair amount of things, including a few fat packs and space for a (small, admittedly) binder. I was very happy with it, as I needed to get rid of the huge duffel I was lugging around. I think I can fit about 3 fat packs in there, and then some room to spare. Will test it out if anyone is actually interested.

I build my own cases out of hardwood and plexi glass. Classy and tough :)
