Who has had a poor experience with dragon shields?
I bought Dragonshield Turquoise for my Duel Commander deck, intending to double sleeve (it's getting up into the 800-900$ range). I don't play on dirty tables or while eating, but they stick like you wouldn't believe. I shuffle it in two halves (because double sleeved and my hands are small cuz being a girl and stuff) and it's still a pain in the ass. They haven't split or anything, they're great sleeves outside of the shuffling problem.
Has this happened to anybody else? Any other stories to share?
Also, anybody want to trade me KMC hyper mattes for these bad boys? :)

Sticking as in the sleeves themselves are sticky or as in there's just a lot of friction between them?

Yeah dragon shields get dirty with me to i use them for commander decks but thats it kmc hyper matte all the way for competitve 75 card decks.

Never had a problem with Dragonshield sleeves before. Never once had them rip, tear or anything of the sort, nor have I had problem with shuffling them.

Epochalyptik I think it's some of both. They like to stick in clumps.

The sometimes happens with my oldest set of Dragonshields (the set on my BUG deck). Then again, I keep that deck tightly packed in a cedar box, and it has been shuffled thousands of times.
To be honest, I prefer that the sleeves stick a bit because it allows me to brick the deck and not worry about tipping it over. I usually only hear about that issue with older sleeves, though. You might want to try swapping over to KMCs for a bit (you'll have to buy two packs, though; it'll be enough for an EDH deck and a 60-card with no spares and no sideboard sleeves).

That's the only reason I havent bought KMCs yet...they come in those damn 80 card packs

I actually just bought dragonshield's for the first time two weeks ago and they are pretty awesome. I bought are the dark green ones, and they are working well, but haven't had em long enough to really tell.
I really like the black KMC's though. I usually end up getting new sleelves for my standard decks every month or so, but the black KMC sleeves I have for my edh deck have lasted almost a year and a half. Some of them (like 10, had to buy two packs to start with so i've got extra) have split but the rest all still shuffle really nicely. The six packs of red KMC's i've gotten (buy em for my standard decks since I can't find the black KMC's) have all been terrible. They get so hard to shuffle after like two-three weeks. They don't split, but they clump the cards and force a pile shuffle or two.

When i first bought Dragonshield Pink i ran into this problem but after a couple days of shuffling they got a lot better. Enough friction for them to stay but not enough so it was like a brick as Epoch called it.

Mine do tend to stick a bit, but, like Epoch, that little bot of stick makes it so they don't fall over. It might just be much more highly pronounced for you because of having smaller hands. How long have you been using them?

It's been a while, since about Christmas if I remember correctly.

I've actually never really had my Dragonshields last particularly long. Other people have apparently have had much better experiences with them, but they've never treated me particularly well. Hyper Mattes or rito.

What's that?
They did it early on and I figured it was because they were new, but it's been months now so I'm not sure.

I tried the KMC hyper mattes and ever since I've put every deck into them 100 card or not. They're totally worth every penny. I double sleeve all my decks and I wouldn't use anything else. I've had 1 sleeve rip on me the entire time an used the same original 80 sleeves for several standard decks and who knows how many tournaments. They are the tip top of you ask me.

I've never had any real issues with Dragonshields. They are a little sticky, but you can rectify that by shuffling a lot if they are new, and by cleaning them if they are old.

My issue with dragon shield is they seem to get dirtier quicker, but that might just me me, and yeah I recently brought some KMC sleeves for a commander deck and their the best thing ever, using them for every deck from now on :D

I can't speak for Dragonshields, but I can say the annoying part of the KMC's is that they only come in packs of 80. Other than that, I've had a great experience with them.
