I was wondering if the Channel Fireball Holiday Crate was a good deal or not. The contents are listed here. What do you guys think?
Don't bother. Buy singles, it's always better financially.

Yeah, I should clarify. This is not for myself, but as a gift. I was wondering if it was better than getting, say a fatpack and a holiday giftbox.
Also my playgroup doesn't play standard and so there is no need to focus on the most current cards.

As a gift it is efficiently costed, again, if the recipient actually needs/wants/accepts those things. Otherwise, I would not go for it.
Also LSV signed a few thousand tokens for their Vegas GP, how did they convince him to mess up his hand more?

Please don't buy the holiday gift box. It's pretty much trash and seriously not worth it

Hey, VA, you should probably check the link. It's not the WotC Holiday box.

Seems cool as a gift. If someone got me this gift I would be appreciative of it. (Ive played many years and have an extensive collection). I would not buy it for myself however.

Well, technically yes, the contents are worth more than $49.99 (+ shipping, handling, and tax), but that's only if you need all those things. That said, if you're thinking about buying this for a friend who is just starting out, it's a decent deal. The foreign language boosters are probably going to be more confusing than helpful, though, so you may need to help with those.
