I'm very confused, trying to make a standard legal deck using Simic but I don't really understnad how it's supposed to work??? What I want is to run some kind of "Voltron" build: working towards building up one creature. I'm kind of on a budget but I'd appreciate any suggestions and generally just some ideas how to make Simic/Theros work or if it's even possible? Here's what I have so far: Simic/Theros Standard

My guess is no. but I think that with the current set change that you might be able to top 8 with how many homebrews are going around. Either way I think that white/red and red/black will be the most powerful decks that are going to enter standard now

One bg creature? Doubtful, but take a look at this and let me know what you think. I've been doing really well with it at FNM lately. UG Ramp Post Rotation

It would be hard to do something like that and do it fast enough to avoid death. The only ways I can think are unblockable creatures that you can pump easily, or maybe a BUG brew where you sac a creature to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord .

Thanks guys. I might rethink it as BUG unblockable...
