Playing UW Approach Control without the new Ixalan cards sine they were on preorder from TCG.
Notable games that should be noted for their interactions in the future...
Pummler and Fling.. even if you are able to deal with pummler always think of interaction with fling... allow them to pump pummler until it is almost in range of killng you then interact. dont interact before lethal.
If you are looking to try and force a counter from opponent play glimmer over illumination.. glimmer allows max of 4 cards to be dug through which gives greater chance of pulling out answer you need over 2 from illumination. Opens up for chance to force counter and win game.
When cycling for draw.. only cycle on your turn if you need the mana.. if not always save to cycle in response or at end of opponent's turn to leave up the mana on your coming up turn and for your opponent's following turn to leave up the mana for answers.
