You should make a list of decks that people have played in tournaments in the description. It would give new players in the format an idea of what people are playing.

We have a spreadsheet with the links to Everyones lists... I came in second with RB Ball lightnings in the last tourni. Lost to AwesomeName's UB faeries.

i think the needs adjustment, because the shards of alara- m11 is to overpowerd. It feels like modern with goblin guide, noble hierarch and wild nacatl forming a zoo deck. It also has llanowar elves, arbor elf, and leatherback behemoth, and garruks companion making stompy, which can also cut shards and add scars of mirrodin to make it better. I believe noble hierach and wild nactacl should be banned.

It doesn't need an adjustment until tested. In the Tourni, Most of us came to the conclusion that Lorwyn - M10 (shards standard) was the most powerful. there were around 5 decks out of 8 from that period, Including my RB Ball lightnings that came in second and AwesomeName's UB faeries that won.

If you think you have something thats busted, try it out! Build a deck and participate in events and if its actually that broken, then bannings will be made. Same with BBE... Not broken until tested.

Yup. The first tournament we had definitely gave us some good testing and ideas for the ban list (sorry faeries, but something's gotta go). Speaking of this, we should try to have our second tournament soon. Lotrboom28 - we will definitely test the decks you mentioned!

Idk, faeries wasn't THAT good. Our games were super close, and I'm playing a bunch of ball lightnings... The deck isn't too oppressive either. I do agree that it's very aggressive for a controlling deck, but I think we could give it another try before bannings.

As of right now, the "solved" decks in the meta are our two:

Lorwyn-M10 standard: UB Faeries And RB Ball lightnings

Nothing else that I played with or against looked bad, but none of it looked incredible either. There are more improvements to be made for sure. That's another reason why we should wait for banning faerie stuff. Just wait for the other decks to catch up. And they will, I promise.

So how would one go about having a tournament for this format? Because I'd like to try out this for myself, but idk exactly how.

@Ashockfan, You're right, faeries do need more testing before bannings. However I do believe it is even stronger than the tournament proved, cause I piloted the deck pretty badly and made a bunch of misplays.

We should set up another tournament, except all decks that lost in the 1st round can't be played. We need to narrow down the meta for the format.

Also, round robin is a much better play style for testing as it allows each deck to see how it competes against each other deck, instead of just playing against one deck it may be particularly crappy against.

Discord is a website where you can join different rooms. Once in a room, there are channels of typing (like untap) and then speaking too. So a lot of streamers or youtubers that want to colab with others talk through discord. We have one for Tappedout, and every once in a while people use it to brew as a group
