Upgrades and Update —Nov. 2, 2015
Added Ancient Tomb and Volrath's Stronghold and removed two basics. Ancient Tomb allows for explosive opening plays and ramp, and Stronghold can recur combo pieces as well as anything that gets milled or removed. These two lands were needed in the deck, but the $15-$20 price tags kept them out of my reach. Duplicant is there for added value, and if we have a recursion engine out we can slowly wipe the field while abusing ETB and our sac-outlets. Duplicant replaced Exhume. Exhume is a pet card of mine, but it's too huggy in a deck that tries to control the board, so it had to go. I'm considering adding more removal. Fingers crossed for a Damnation reprint soon.
