The deck doesn't really need additional acceleration. I don't generally try to storm off so while Mox Diamond added some early game explosiveness, it didn't do a lot outside of that. This deck is designed to play a longer game anyway.
Murderous Cut comes in to add some additional spot removal. I really was lacking instant speed spot removal and I like that Cut isn't conditional. Delve also plays well with Liliana. I was considering Sudden Spoiling, but I think the deck has enough sweepers even though Sudden Spoiling is in a bit of a different category.
