Hanna, Ship's Navigator

Why Hanna?

Hanna allows you to generate value overtime by using your graveyard as an extension of your hand.

Hanna allows you to pick up combo pieces that been destroyed or otherwise lost to you.

*Her mana cost of is relatively low and allows her to be recast.is

How does the deck win?

There is two main ways to victory with a few backup plans.

*The primary way is assembling the Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace Combo. To do this the deck plays lots of tutors, the hardest part is obtaining the Rest in Peace but once assembled the combo allows you to exile an opponents whole library per activation.

*The secondary wincon is generating infinite mana with one of the three infinite combos of the deck: Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal; Paradox Engine + enough mana rocks to form a recursive loop with Hanna; Illusionist's Bracers + Aphetto Alchemist/Rimewind Taskmage + a mana rock. Then use that mana to cast a big enough Walking Ballista to ping everyone to death.

Combos that can killl but that is not the primary focus:

*Recur an Memory Jar to mill everyone, this can be done with a Paradox Count of 8.

*Mill everyone with infinite untaps and a Temple Bell. This should only be done if everyone is tapped out and you have more cards in your library then everyone else.

*Infinitely mindslaver everyone, this is the most fun way to win but requires a Paradox Count of 13, of 13 mana in general if there is only one opponent left.

Laboratory Maniac can be used in conjunction with either the Temple Bell or Memory Jar plan to win directly.

The last win condition in the deck is exiling all permanents your opponents control while destroying all lands and animating all your non-land permanents you control to beat face with Enchanted Evening + Opalescence/Starfield of Nyx + Parallax Wave.

Examples of other non game winning combos or stack manipulation in the deck are:

Claws of Gix, the claws allows you to sacrifice your exiling enchantments to make the exile be permanent. The deck plays the following enchantments to make use of this: Journey to Nowhere, Oblivion Ring, Parallax Wave and Parallax Tide.

Opalescence/Starfield to Nyx + Enchanted Evening, this combo as of itself wipes the board from all cmc 0 permanents including lands and prevets permanents of that cmc to stay on the field. The combo can also be used together with Parallax Wave to exile all permanents you want to permanently, with only Parallax Wave and Opalescence allows you to Exile all creatures permanently.

Enchanted Evening can be used to make Dispeller's Capsule and Aura of Silence into spot removal for any permanent. EE also makes Sphere of Safety into an extremely powerful taxation shield.

Solitary Confinement by itself only needs 6 mana to go around it's downside by recuring it and replaying it every turn.

Isochron Scepter + Paradox Engine + 2 mana in mana rocks, this allows you to imprint either a Counterspell, Enlightened Tutor, Orim's Chant or Swords to Plowshares for an infinite amount of activations.
