lol you're giving examples where you drop 2 hardened scales and 2 scale blessing..

But I don't get this. You have 2 creatures out. Why is it that you think that by turn 5 you can get away with having only 2 creatures out and that when you do these miracle plays the creatures aren't simply killed, exiled or haven't already been by that point? It just seems to me that you're working in a white room right now where you get the exact cards you need, in the exact order you need them, without anything affecting you at all. My point was that in competitive standard, or even just FNM standard, thinking you can do that kind of thing is completely unrealistic. Either that or we play in completely different metas. I can count on one hand the amount of times that I've managed to get a hydra out on turn 3 and that it has lived to turn 5.

Noctem, I'm pretty sure I already stated that this is all best case scenario, and that I've only seen it happen like this once... But I'll go over it again if you like.

Above I wasn't saying 2 scale blessings, I was showing one or the other. So on T4 above you could EITHER get a scale blessing that turn for around 12 counters, or if you played 2 more creatures and then T5 played the scale blessing you could end up with anywhere from 18-28 counters depending on what you have on the board.

Again, this is all best case scenario. Like I stated earlier, it's not unusual to hit 10 counters when I drop scale blessing, and it normally doesn't happen until around turn 8. So obviously that means it didn't all go down ideally... but still getting 10 counters is pretty awesome.

I have not gone to FNM, but the people I casually play with go to both GP events and FNM, and this deck does very well against them. Do I win every time? Of course not, but scale blessing has given me a victory at least a couple times that I can think of, and thus gets a slot in my deck. Is it for everyone? No.

My meta has a large range of decks, but honestly, most of them end up playing mid-range creature decks most weeks, which is ideal for me, but some have U/R control or U/B control, and those aren't great matchups for any deck like this, but I still win more than I lose against them.

I also have 7 other decks built that I rotate, so I don't play this every week because most people don't like me playing this one all the time... cause I normally win. Again, this is all casual and I haven't had a chance to attend a FNM yet. I really want to, but haven't had the chance.

T4: Scale Blessing drops additional 12 counters... or Abzan falconer/managorger and servant of the scale

T5: Scale blessing now drops 18 or 21 counters.

Anyway it's fine, you want to list best case scenarios that have only happened once to promote using a specific card, you go ahead :)

Yeah... so what you just copied from me has OR right there. I'm not sure why you're having such a hard time reading that, but ok.

I haven't once stated that getting 20 counters is expected, I've always said it's best case, and that I regularly see 10 counters with it... so sure, one game. I have been playing with a group for 6 months now every Monday, and have had this deck built in some form or another since then... I have easily played this deck in 60 games against others, and in the 100's with my wife against other decks we have (Sphinx Mill, RDW, B/W Warrior, Green Ramp, U/R Thopter, Mardu Token Burn). I have had the Scale Blessing in it for over 4 months now. That's a pretty large sample size in which I did decide to drop it from 4 to 2 but still keep it in my deck because when it comes up, I am always happy to see it and it always gets used when I have it.

Maybe instead of being negative, let's try to be constructive. I thought the idea with this site is to get ideas and be helpful and build a strong community. Part of the reason I haven't attended FNM is because my friends who go say the events have a large number of a-holes. I just don't enjoy playing like that.

I understand what you've been saying, but I promise I have tested it out and it is worth the slot.
