hello! This looks simply amazing and I reaalllly want to try it out. I am having trouble understanding how exactly this works. I noticed that you guys have a Youtube channel when I viewed the video in the description. Is there any thoughts of playing a game as an example? I am a very visual learner and that would help greatly. Thank you for your efforts in further improving such an amazing game!

ZendikariWol Awesome! Will check it out as soon as I find some time and will send you some feedback.
mastermew Thanks, I recommend to check the quick rules. They explain the main game step by step and the expansion / subvariant quick rule cards explain everything you need to know to play them. I let ppl at LGS read the quick rules and just let them start. Its designed to be self-explanatory.
I am planning to do an updated version of the YouTube video and give some examples as to how a game can evolve. But since I am extremly busy right now the video will probably hit around mid august.

Do you still need to complete all active encounters in order for a player to win? It does not say this in the quick rules.

Dr_Graves_88 We decided to cut that rule to leave more room for custom rules playgroups can create themselves. CA is still in a "sandbox" phase. The cards we now have are final, but rules / play methods can still be optimized.

This looks really awesome! I am always happy to add another element to Magic and this seems very exciting. Really looking forward to the newest expansions! This may be a dumb question but I couldn't find a link to finding the assets, where is it at?

@nXken Awesome!
We often get that suggestion but we don't own any artworks depicted on the cards and I myself am pretty busy with university and work - so for now it stays a cool hobby project.

So I just attempted to print this out to make my game night a bit more fun and honestly it was all in a weird format and cards were cut off at the bottom of the page. Anyway you could fix the formating on the cards? Also why are they a weird like tarot style card?

Hi DrkNinja,
they usually come out just fine when printed at given size. They are scaled to 100% fit original MTG cards if not resized.
Check what scaling settings your print app has. As recommended, Photoshop and GIMP have great tools for printing exact sizes.

Sorry I learned that it was just my printer, went to Staples and it was fine.

Is it possible to buy prints of all these cards instead of printing them ourselves?
June 22, 2018 3:36 p.m.
CommanderAdventures says... #19
@Daggerfella Unfortunately we don't sell these since its a non-commercial fan project. Otherwise we would violate WotC's fan policy guidelines as we used trademarked icons and artworks we don't own. (And we don't want to put this project into any risks.)
So printing for yourself or ordering them at a print shop for private use are the only options I can recommend and that stay within given guidelines.

HiCommanderAdventures, amazing work indeed, thank you for sharing this project. Can I only ask you a question about the ignition expansion? If I own the original planchese planes and phenomenons, can i play it togheter with ignition? My question rises because of the format of the planes

Hi markamundi
we made sure to include / improve the best original planechase mechanics in our ignition planes so you don't need to use them.
We have a different formatting so its kinda hard to play with both at once.
But there are plenty unique planes to explore in Ignition :)

I can't wait to play with these! There seems to be a lot of text on these cards, do people who already printed them out find them easy to read at normal size? Or should I try to print them at Oversized/planechase size?

CommanderAdventures says... #23
Piginatuxedo Depends on your Printer-quality. I ordered mine at a printshop and altough the letters are small they are perfectly readable on original Magic-card size.
If you have the option to print them on oversized cards, great! But will be lot of paper since you'll end up with around 306 cards including tokens :)

Hey CommanderAdventures!
I am super hyped about your format. I'm already introducing it to my playgroup even though we don't fully understand it. I have a few requests/questions to start off our journey into Commander Adventures. First off I would like to know what you suggest we start off with. My playgroup is 5-7 EDH players. What expansion/format would you recommend we start off with? I was also wondering if you could post a clearer definition of gameplay or update the video. I watched it but I didn't fully understand. I am already looking at printing options and I think we'll have a ton of fun playing your format! Thank you for everything.

Hey tybonel13,
glad you like it. Yeah this format is pretty much learning by playing as most of it is self-explaining.
I recommend to get Starter Edition, Dungeons and Dragons and Ignition. Conspiracy and Legacy of the Paruns are just subvariants that increase complexity even more.
Best size to play this format is 4-5 players. Start with 5 common quests (for the beginning maybe not with an encounter) and just follow the Quick Rules. :)

Hey guys, thanks a lot! You guys inspired me to put my own unique spin on the game of Magic! Imma link it here because shameless plug but mostly thank you guys a lot. Our games are totally different but both very fun.
