Playtest Results and Deck Adjustments —Dec. 21, 2024
After some playtesting, I achieved promising results. I played six matches across two different playgroups and managed to win four of them. However, I quickly became the main target of the army decks, as usual. I struggled to survive and find answers in those situations.
To address this, I added a few "gotcha" spells, which fit perfectly with the surprise ninja vibe of the deck, and included some more effective board wipes. I am also considering adding tutors in the future, depending on whether I dismantle other decks or rearrange tutors.
The new additions are: Damnation, Toxic Deluge, Aetherize, and Arachnogenesis. To make room for these cards, I removed Filter Out, Spreading Seas, Viscera Seer, and Cacophony Unleashed (for now).
