FNM 4-18 —April 19, 2014

Round 1 - Naya midrange, I took game 1 convincingly with intimidate and fliers. Game 2 was a loss due to a misplay that caused me to miss lethal (still kicking myself in the ass for this). Game 3 was a loss due to no colored lands. I mulliganed to 5 and kept 2 mutavaults. 1-2 Loss

Round 2 - Mono Black Devotion, he is a fantastic player, I just had perfect draws and took it 2-0

Round 3 - Esper midrange I took it 2-0 as he was using a budget deck and had few answers for my creatures.

Round 4 - Boros Midrange, I took it 2-0 very convincingly. Kill spells > Burn

Round 5 - Boros Burn, I took it 2-0 , Stick a Stormbreath and ride that fucker to victory. And in game 2 I hit a very nasty rakdos's return for 4, it took her cards and her only chance at coming back.

Round 6 - Mono Blue Devotion, I was expecting to lose as I was playing one of the best players in my city, he was in first place at the time, I took it 2-0 after perfect killspell draws with D. Demons on the field. (I was so surprised and happy that I won against the Legendary Bronson)

Round 7 - White weenies (splash of black), I got destroyed 2-0 because fiedslayer paladin and imposing sovreign are so good against my deck. I got absolutely wrecked. Good games against a good player though, I had fun.

So in the end I got 3rd and went home with 3 packs, not too shabby considering its only a $4 tournament. Overall a good night of magic!
