Deck revision —April 1, 2016
- Replaced one Lumbering Falls with a fourth Yavimaya Coast
- Replaced Sarkhan Unbroken with Pia and Kiran Nalaar, I consider Pia and Kiran more of a 6 to 7 drop.
- Moved Roast to the sideboard and replaced with Clutch of Currents.
I found that we need more lands entering untapped, hence the Yavimaya Coast change. Roast and Sarkhan Unbroken were a bit awkward in the deck and we needed more ways of interacting with Westvale Abbey main deck. Both Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Clutch of Currents interact with Westvale Abbey and let us win games even when its active. Typically we just need to bounce Westvale Abbey once and we can control the rest of the board with Aether Grid, or in the case of Pia and Kiran Nalaar just block with thopters and sacrifice before combat damage.

What about Pia and Kiran Nalaar? They seem like a shoe in for a deck like this, pitching clues for damage, more artifacts for Thopter Spy Network, and more bodies to generate clues through Ongoing Investigation. I think the mana base would need to be re-adjusted though to support the double red.
