Slight change —Aug. 28, 2017

Main:

+2 Serum Visions

+2 Remand

+2 Opt

-1 Countersquall

-1 Darkslick Shores

-1 Familiar's Ruse

-1 Thoughtseize

-1 Ancestral Vision

-1 Vendilion Clique

Side:

+2 Thing in the Ice

-2 Bontu's Last Reckoning

So the main reason I'm dropping a land is because I'll be going up to 8 cantrips. Remand comes in to give me a less conditional counter, and act as the 7th and 8th cantrip.

Thoughtseize is coming out because I've found that the life loss is almost painful for the effect, especially since Inquisition is just as powerful.

Thing in the Ice is a less negative Bontu's, especially with the body. Seems like it might be a decent trade.

Bit late to the party on that one, mate. Stopped being Esper a few weeks back, now that Fatal Push is a thing.

This thing was Esper Fae? Now it's back to Dimir? Sounds like a significant downgrade. Did this deck seriously go 1-3, losing to a control deck, a combo deck, and an aggro deck? With it's only win vs jank when mana flooded? Ouch...

If that is the case, what matchup is this deck favored in? You said it wasn't favored vs tempo either. I would recommend a bit of an overhaul.

The mana base seems taxed, trying to get to 6 lands in play, live to turn 6, and have 4 UUUU to Snap Cryptic in a deck with Mutavaults. Sounds rough, especially when Bloodmoon is involved.

How well is this deck performing? Is this really the right formula?

Honestly, veeonix, I've been a bit lazy and kept the matchup info from back when it used to be Esper. I actually took it to a PPTQ a few days ago, and went 3-3, losing either because I didn't see a Bitterblossom, or because of poor sequencing on my part. Since I moved to this list, it's improved a great deal.
