Deckling -

Hey there I'm skoobysnackz. I've been playing magic since the end of 2015. I started out playing only modern and lots of control decks, which is still my favorite strategy. However, I now also play much more casual, combo oriented decks in both modern and commander/EDH. My favorite creatures are Hypnotoad, and Puff the Magic Dragon. Here are links to my modern decks that are centered around them: All Glory to the Hypnotoad, and Puff the Magic Dragon. My favorite color combos are Esper (), Sultai (), and Grixis (), with Temur () close behind. My favorite commander at the moment is Muldrotha, the Gravetide, here is my take on the deck: Tidal Graves, and here's the budget version: Budget Muldrotha. If you like any of my decks don't hesitate to let me know, especially if you have suggestions. I'd like to mention, though, that there are a few cards I will almost always exclude from my decks: Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, Liliana of the Veil, Mana Drain, Force of Will, Necropotence, and Ad Nauseam. I feel that these cards are too unbalanced and take the fun out of the games they appear in, but I will not hold it against anyone else for playing them. Finally, I think it is important to say that if you like any deck (not just mine) enough to put it into a folder, or to comment something like "nice deck", just give the deck an upvote. It costs you nothing and shows the deck is appreciated.

So they would come back as separate permanents, but would Tamiyo still transform?

If I mutate the Sea-Dasher Octopus over Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student and then draw three cards in a turn will the tamiyo component flip to be a planeswalker? Would the octopus component keep it as a creature as well? If the card is a planeswalker and a creature how would combat damage affect the planeswalker part if its used to block or gets blocked? Could the planeswalker survive being delt 2 damage if that would kill the creature?
