Druid Class

Enchantment — Class

@NV_1980 Nice suggestions. 100% agree with the Sakura-Tribe Elder, and I've got one on the way already. The deck could do with one more two-drop. I'm reluctant on the Explore and Growth Spiral, because in my experience it can be inconsistent (sometimes it becomes only a two mana cantrip when you get land screwed).

Wood Elves is a decent suggestion that could work, but it feels slow and this deck can't abuse it enough.

I love Utopia Sprawl, and use it in a couple of my other decks. I'm not a fan that it won't trigger my landfall though.

I can't justify making the space in the deck for a Brainstorm or Druid Class, neither being creature spells

Great start, but I think it could use some more speed (in terms of ramping and card-draw). Some ideas to imrpove on this, without spending a large sum of money:

  • Brainstorm: just an excellent draw/filter card at negligible casting cost.
  • Druid Class: excellent land-fall enabler and allows more land-drops per turn.
  • Explore/Growth Spiral: instant draw and as well as some land-drop.
  • Sakura-Tribe Elder: just a good ramp creature.
  • Utopia Sprawl: helps with whatever other color of mana you need at the time of casting.
  • Wood Elves: limited to tutoring for a Forest, but it enters the battlefield untapped so you can immediately use it.

Hope this helped; happy brewing!

Playtested your deck and loved it. It is a card draw/ramp machine, might even build one for myself. I will research some cards, but for now, I can remember some cool things to ad.

Druid Class for extra land drops (it cost 5 mana to do so, it is a maybe board).

Stasis Snare and Banishment. Removal enchantment with flash is aways good.

Benevolent Blessing maybe better then Karametra's Blessing?

Darksteel Mutation If budget enough.

Several cards with level up/leveling activated abilities are marked as illegal when Zirda, the Dawnmaker is designated as companion.

Here is a list of the cards I have noticed:

Lighthouse Chronologist, Artificer Class, Barbarian Class, Cleric Class, Druid Class, Fighter Class, Monk Class, Paladin Class, Ranger Class, Rogue Class, Sorcerer Class, Warlock Class, Wizard Class

Phyrexian Dragon Engine  Meld seems to have a similar issue.

You think I should drop Druid Class and have a 3rd walker?

Mr.Himer on Will this create token lands …

This might be really convoluted and stupid but that's what I like about Magic so bear with me. Thanks in advance for any help.

At the start of my turn, I have a Growing Ranks, a Helm of the Host, a Thornglint Bridge, and a Druid Class which is at level 2 on the battlefield. During my first Main Phase, I spend the mana to put Druid Class at level 3 and target Thornglint Bridge making it a creature that's power and toughness are each equal to the number of lands I control. If I then equip Helm of the Host to the Thornglint Bridge land creature and go to my combat phase, I get a token copy. Is that token just a copy of Thornglint Bridge or is it also a land creature that I could then target with Growing Ranks at the beginning of my next upkeep?

If it's not a creature, could I target that token copy of Thornglint Bridge with Living Terrain and make it available to be targeted by Growing Ranks?

I like the idea of getting myself a bunch of indestructible land tokens. Is there an easier way to do this and I'm just dumb? Probably. Thanks for any and all help!!!

Update!

In: Crop Rotation

Out: Druid Class

Druid Class was as exciting as I thought it might be - but it was worth a try! Crop Rotation will let us filter a land if we need to or since it reads "find a land", we could tutor up Dark Depths or Thespian's Stage!
