Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa
Legendary Creature — Human Artificer
Permanents you control have "Ward&—Sacrifice a permanent." (Whenever this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless that player sacrifices a permanent.)
Each artifact card in your graveyard has unearth . (: Return the card from your graveyard to the battlefield. It gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step or if it would leave the battlefield. Unearth only as a sorcery.)

Nothing can happen to your permanents unless the opponent sacrifices a permanent, which is potentially a creature. And unearth for artifacts is a nice bonus.

Thank you both for the advice, but I'll probably make the less advised choice to continuing down this path. I don't mind if it's towards the middle of the pack, it's mostly just for playing around between matches at FNM.
Argy, based on the midrange decklist you linked, I think it may be better to lean towards more direct removal, especially with the loss of bolt. I'd had LotV in the original modern build as well, so I can probably move some back into the in in place of some other losses. The only creature card I really need to cast is Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa, and maybe prototyping Phyrexian Fleshgorger occasionally. Everything else is just dumped and reanimated later.
Icbrgr, I'd looked at Springleaf Drum, but I just don't play enough creatures.

tkjanacek Sorry, half of my message went away. Here it is:
Maybe (if I run Nekusar) I can add to Mogis other stuff like Mayhem Devil, Morbid Opportunist, Sangromancer, Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa, etc, instead.
Thank you for your comments and for your card suggestions! :D

tkjanacek Yes, you are right about Street Wraith being only just a replacement. I should keep Theater of Horrors. I've added a Phyrexian Arena too.
I do like that wheeling theme you mentioned, I am considering building an spin-off of this deck running Nekusar, as you suggested hahaha

Given the Mana curve, you can probably get away with 33-34 lands.
Might as well run Urza, Lord Protector Meld as well
I know you were talking about adding Mycosynth Lattice to use with Vandalblast and Karn, the Great Creator (it is not official, but at some point they're going to need to create wishboard in the EDH rules to use with fetching cards outside the game, 10 is what I usually see allowed--> you could use this to add some artifacts to board that could act in a more stax capacity.
Maybe:
--Flex slot--
Some cards I am not big on, i.e. I think you can drop these:
Impact Tremors: I get it works with a combo but I feel like there are better cards to use
Fable of the Mirror-Breaker Flip: a pretty good card, it could fit in here, but you may need to run more reanimating cards, I don't feel it exactly fits too much with the goblin token and the mini-kiki
Pitiless Plunderer: excels in decks with lots of creature sacs but I don't see as much in this list, I feel at a glance, that it is more of a dead card more often than not.
That should give you some spots for Karn, Mycosynth, Urza, and maybe some artifact recursion like Tameshi, Reality Architect and/or Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa

FormOverFunction - It must've been Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa... and yeah, it would hose that deck hard lol.

aholder7, thanks for play testing it again! The results are a little disheartening, but pretty much what I expected. Like I said before though, this is meant more as a casual deck for me to play against my group of friends who also just play casual, and as it is I think this deck already has more removal than they like. I like how this deck feels right now in terms of my play group's power level so unless it ends up getting absolutely demolished by my friends, I think I'll keep it as is for now.
However, I was tinkering around with the deck a little more to address the weaknesses you stated, and I think I've made a deck list that could possibly hold its ground better against a lot of the decks you play tested mine against. Here's the decklist if you wanna see:
4x Fatal Push
3x Mind Stone
6x Mountain
3x Swamp
SIDEBOARD:
4x Dreadbore
4x Terminate
I actually really like Call the Bloodline in here because it can be a fairly early game way to generate lifelink chump blockers while also doubling as a cheap discard outlet, but there's probably still better options out there.

I really like your version of a Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa deck, it seems like a blast to play!
I do have one question though, is Sundering Titan actually good? I feel like it’s a card that can way too easily backfire on you if you decide to put it out. Maybe I just haven’t watched enough competitive games to know how good it can really be, but I feel like Blightsteel Colossus would be the safer and more practical option.
