This is a decent Edgar Markov list I just had a few questions and comments about choices
- You are playing swords to plowshares and path to exile in your deck what creatures are you worried about dealing with.
2.I know you have in maybe board but for 1 mana more than Vampire Aristocrat you get a much better card in Falkenrath Aristocrat as it has much better stats, evasion, and protection in addition the new Immersturm Predator is also a very good vampire sac outlet that is targeted graveyard hate.
3.What is your goal with this deck you say it's more and more a combo deck but it still has vampire aggro elements of it. While I think having multiple strategies within Edgar Markov is actually a good strategy with Edgar Markov. For example not only is Oathsworn Vampire a component of a decent combo but is actually pretty decent for the aggro beatdown Worldgorger Dragon while technically part of a more efficient combo is actually terrible for your vampire aggro deck. My suggestion would be to remove Worldgorger Dragon from your deck. doing so also allows to remove Heir of Falkenrath Flip and Olivia's Dragoon which are not very good cards and are only really in for worldgorger in the first place.
Things I like about your deck
-
Living Death : I think it is arguable the best card in an Edgar Markov deck not only an immediate board reset after a wipe but with a sac outlet you get a one-sided board wipe with all the effects of the sac + death triggers
-
Multiple win cons: I did sort of mention this before but you also seem to recognize that Edgar Markov is a deck that can benefit exceedingly from a multitude of win conditions. This I think is because Edgar Markov identity is a momentum-based strategy, and thus is at its worst when your ground to a halt, or when you divert attention away from building momentum, which is also why I asked about your choice of strictly creature removal.
If you wanted to get some insight into how I personally balance multiple strategies in my personal deck, in addition to some very interesting vampire combo's I will put a link here.

I played against this deck several times, and it won handily 3/5 times. The first time I played your deck, I beat it, but it didn't draw well at all - mostly swamps and the Putrid Imp without the other combo cards, so I won't consider that a fair test. The second time was closer, and I ended up losing to your Imp and the Heir of Falkenrath Flip, both being pumped up by discarding so they could fly over my small creatures. The other times I was just crushed, as planned :)
When the combo works in your deck, which appears to be most of the time (even the small creatures cycle out of the graveyard quite readily), it's unstoppable. It's almost impossible to come back from losing all of your permanents that early in the game. Makes me think the annihilator ability is broken, but that's only because you've built a deck that takes advantage of it so well. Nice work :)
Akromathia on Liliana, Defiant Necromancer and Discarding

Hello, good day and happy new year everyone:
While I was surfing “Tapped Out” looking for Liliana, Defiant Necromancer pricing, I came across the combo section. I saw that many of the combo suggestions have to do with discarding cards yourself (The likes of Burning Inquiry , Heir of Falkenrath Flip and Tormenting Voice ).
My question is, how does the combo work? Is it just making reference to the fact that you can bring them back with the “-X”, or is there something I am not seeing?
The combo section should include a quick explanation on how it works. Sorry if this question is considered dumb.
Thank you in advance.

Alright, let's get down to it! Anje Falkenrath is relatively new and I'm not yet sold on her validity as a vampire commander. My primary hang up is the overall weakness of madness as a mechanic. It is still critically underrepresented on cards, and of those that do exist only a handful are actually any good. I'm not saying it can't be done, just that I am skeptical that it can compete with existing vampire archetypes.

My overall impression is that you've got a decent base here, but have made several choices that I see a lot of new EDH players make in their early decks. In general, you could use more card draw and I would encourage you to take a look at EDHREC or other vampire decks on here for inspiration in terms of what kinds of effects truly shine in EDH versus other formats.

I'm working on incorporating this, my favorite of mechanics, into my Modern deck. So far in playtesting at FNMs it is surprisingly effective. If you're planning on playing Madness with Rakdos vampires definitely play a playset of Heir of Falkenrath Flip and/or Furyblade Vampire . Both are great Madness "engines" for your Madness "fuel."

Other maybe-useful things that come to mind include Heir of Falkenrath Flip and more importantly: Faithless Looting .

I actually made a $15 vampire deck for someone else a while back! Here it is if you want any ideas for your deck: $15 Madness Vampires.
Otherwise, here are the changes I would for sure make to your deck:
-2 Havengul Vampire , +2 Heir of Falkenrath Flip
-2 Ruthless Cullblade , -2 Bloodlord of Vaasgoth , +4 Vampire Lacerator
+3 Fiery Temper , -3 any of the other noncreature cards

After some tests, the deck seems to have a horrible time limping about. There isn't enough going on and not enough answers to situations that arise.
Sonic Assault feels utterly pointless. At first glance it looked good...but when it's turned up in hand/graveyard a few times, I find myself despising it. So it's on the rack.
To replace it, I think I found just the thing: Heir of Falkenrath Flip. It's on flavor for Vampires, not hard to cast and has a free discard effect for a slightly stronger flier. It tickles me ^-^
The problem now is finding adequate answers to situations. The biggest problem being big creatures I can't swing into in the beginning. I decided on two bigguns: Urge to Feed and Terminate . With Blue quickly fading from the deck, I'm deciding on leaving behind Radical Idea .
