Drill Bit

Sorcery

Spectacle (You may cast this spell for its spectacle cost rather than its mana cost if an opponent lost life this turn.)

Target player reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it. THat player discards that card.

I initially had Drill Bit, but the deck doesnt really deal that much damage at the phase in it's plan where its going to be casting Drill Bit

rjife, you're in love with that Thrill of Possibility. In order to improve the mana base, I'd say to take out the Llanowar Wastes for a better land that won't deal you damage. Also, possibly add a Drill Bit? I'd also say to add a better description, please, so that we can better understand the point/direction of your deck and suggest based on that. Good luck!

Thanks, I was thinking of a couple of changes that could be done. One is going full creature less. The Smallpox combo would be less effective but easier to play. Setting the board with both Liliana's Caress and Geralf's Messenger can take quite a lot of time.

The other was to change Vicious Rumors for Raven's Crime. Even if the first trigger Drill Bit, most of the cards in the deck already do it. On the other hand, Raven's Crime can be another card that we can replay from graveyard to give the deck more options as we go on in the game.

Trying the deck I noticed that if you are not able to end the game, at a certain point you will run out of gas and you will not be able to finish the opponent, so more cards that we can play more than once are good imo.

EdCartman oo that would be much more useful, Tragic Slip would fit in much better than Lightning Bolt, and Drill Bit would make a good sideboard maybe even mainboard.

also how about change Lightning Bolt for Tragic Slip (considering the suicide nature of the deck it works perfect as removal instead of bolt) also you can sideboard Drill Bit (if you do damage with cat/oven, artist, zulaport, etc you can do a Thoughtseize )

I think the concept for this deck is pretty cool, but tutors would be really helpful for cards like Phage. I know, some are REALLY expensive, but two good budget options are: Diabolic Tutor, Mastermind's Acquisition, and Final Parting. If you're willing to spend a bit more, Beseech the Queen would work, too. You might want to add an alternate wincon, like Etrata, the Silencer. (That is, of course, optional, but it helps sometimes.) As for your graveyard problem, most of the time, the solution would be counterspells. For Bojuka Bog, you could toss in a Trickbind or a Stifle.

Cairn Wanderer could be useful here, and to mess up your opponents messing with you, you could add in some hand-removal stuff. Duress, Inquisition of Kozilek, and Drill Bit would all work. Or Thought Erasure, for some top-deck control.

I hope the construction of this goes well for you!

A good start but trimming some of the fat like Grotesque Mutation and Drill Bit and slotting in more rocks/tutors will make things a bit smoother. The blackhole sun list is probably the one you should try to emulate more than mine; that's the community list. Multiple minds are better than one :) best of luck with the build.

I get what you're saying, but Dryad of the Ilysian Grove does not ramp you unless you have extra lands in hand, which won't be the case most of the time. It makes your mana A LOT worse and having it as a target for Fiend Artisan seems like a waste of the ability. These decks are usually able to play out their cards just fine given the low curve and incidental mana from Priest of the forgotten gods.

I still believe that adding Cauldron Familiar and Witch's Oven over something like Dreadhorde Invasion and Drill Bit will make your deck more consistent and quite a lot stronger. You also just need 1-drops both for pressure, but also to maximize your Priest and other sac synergies.
