Penny Dreadful on TappedOut
TappedOut forum

Hey all,
So, Penny Dreadful, a new format (that wizard will never acknowledge because of how the banlist is decided) is currently blowing up and we wanted a legality subset to be added to the site. After talking with yeaGO, people need to express their attention to the format for it to happen.
So, for those who don't know the format, Penny Dreadful (shorten to PD) is a format where only cards worth a penny on MTGO are legal(rotates every release of a Standard legal set). For more info about the format, we have a subreddit over at r/PennyDreadfulMTG. (The About post can be found here and contains all the necessary to get started.)
Are interested in this format and want to have it listed here on TappedOut in the formats? Then comment on this post your interest so yeaGO can see that Penny Dreadful IS after all a format people here are interested in.

I love this format, and this would make it much better for building decks

I'd be into it.
I'd also be into y'all making Australian Highlander (http://www.auseternal.com/7-point-highlander/) a format for the site...

Having PD be a format I can search and check on tappedout would be enormously helpful to me.

I found a post pointing me here while I was brewing a PD deck on Tapped Out in another tab - definitely interested!
Thanks

I would love this, both for finding other decks to get ideas, and for my own organization. Plus it would be great for helping with legality. 10/10 would use. Please make!

Lol seems so. Well could someone break down how it works?

Basically, the only cards legal in the format are cards worth 0.01 tix on MTGO when a new standard set releases. So until Kaladesh releases, we are running with this list. After that, the rotation will most likely kick cards that are picking up too much steam and the format will self-regulate. (hopefully, no rotation has hit yet)

decks can now be added to that format.
legality checking will be coming soon.
