masking draft results

what's the point in masking the draft results if you can't see your deck to be able to play right after you have drafted. Seems a little odd to me that the option is even available when all it does is postpone when everyone can see all the picks.
checking that feature when you draft apparently makes it so ALL the results are hidden for 24 hours. This is not useful in any way from my point of view. I hosted an 8 person m13 draft yesterday and everyone had to wait 24 hours to access their decks.

I can make it so you can see only your own? I think the feature was there so people could cube draft and then play against one another without seeing each others picks.
