Custom Category tags are auto-reorganizing and changing custom tags

I've noticed an issue where my custom categories are reorganizing, removing tags and reordering cards based on shared tags (which it also removes from the cards). I'd like to know how to stop this from occurring (not using custom categories isn't an option).

Here's an example of what I might type into the text input field, and it's what i used to see on the "edit deck" page:

1x Caged Sun #damage #acceleration_mana
1x Nissa, Vital Force #acceleration_mana #drawrepeat #likeslands #manland #recursion
1x Nissa, Worldwaker #acceleration_mana #acceleration_land #manland
1x Selvala's Stampede #acceleration_land #acceleration_mana #drawonce #etb #lulz
1x Skyshroud Claim #acceleration_land
1x Solemn Simulacrum #acceleration_land #drawonce #etb

But what I'm now seeing is something like this:

# acceleration mana
1x Caged Sun #damage
1x Nissa, Vital Force #drawrepeat #likeslands #manland #recursion

# acceleration land
1x Nissa, Worldwaker #acceleration_mana #manland
1x Selvala's Stampede #acceleration_mana #drawonce #etb #lulz
1x Skyshroud Claim
1x Solemn Simulacrum #drawonce #etb

It's really messing with my ability to move cards into and out of the sideboard.

Now i need to copy-paste not only the card but also its "category" tag. Additionally, i need to reformat the "category" tag, because "-tag- -space- -foo-" (# foo) is not valid tagging syntax.

Also, I can no longer just paste a tag in anywhere, because if I add a card anywhere inside of a "category" tag group (even if it's at the end), it is added to that category, even if it isn't tagged as belonging to that category.

Anyone know how to stop this from occurring?

have you looked at board edit, where you can just flip the board very easily?

i had never previously heard of that, but having now looked at it, i'd say it's of no help, as it fully mixes Side-, Main-, and Maybeboards with almost no differentiation.

But thank you for the input :)

board edit -> categorize by board??

That also gets rid of other categorizations though, like "type" (if it even works ... when i use it i just get "alphabetical" sort. Rarity, CMC, and price sorts all work fine, so i dunno what's up with that).

Just as an update: It seems to have stopped happening, as randomly as it started. I got it once on a sideboard yesterday but otherwise it's gone as though it never existed
