Calling it now:
Whatever time shenaigans go on in Fate Reforged will cause the return of the dragons (or at least Ugin).
Without the dragons, would the clans exist in their currents forms? Could they be blended together like the Shards of Alara?
I just want bolas back...grixis needs its king back in standard, ef sarkhan...

Sarkhan travelled from Zendikar to Tarkir so it's probably not likely that they are the same plane...

That's why I hate time travel, my head hurts as soon as I start thinking about it. Everything makes sense to someone, but nothing makes any real sense at all.

themindbullet however one or the other could be an alternate reality. Remember that time was damaged by Urza and Teferi, could be a cause and effect type thing.

Gah, looks like I was a bit unclear:
The main reason for this post were the questions at the end: Whether Khans block 3 would be similar to Conflux, with the clan's mechanics and identities blending together.
It's all but confirmed that Sarkhsn and/or Sorin will time travel to same Ugin and/or dragons in general. What will the repercussions of that be?

There have been multiple posts on the subject already. Many people have already come to this conclusion. It is also known that Sarkhan will be traveling back in time to save Ugin and the dragons. And, as the good guy, he is going to succeed.
