Is anyone part of a real mtg team? I'm talking on a competitive level driving together to GPs and what not. I was almost part of one once. Not a big one or anything just a group of spikes who wanted to do formal practicing and strategizin

I wish. Then I might be able to actually complete Standard decks before the second set of the block is released.

Me and my best friends used to have a sort of policy that we'd pool all of our cards as long as you kept track of who owned what...it was great

I am part of a team at my LGS in southern California. We are all taking a trip up to Los Angeles for GPLA. none of us are particularly wealthy, so we can only go to the events nearby, but we playtest online and practice in person all the time. It is a great way to grow your skills as a player, and I think it makes the game that much more interesting.
