Casual Players in Derbyshire \ Staffordshire, UK?

Anyone in Derbyshire Staffordshire (more specifically near Burton) area interested in meeting up for a few casual games of magic and a pint somewhere?
Yeah, I've been told most of the UK players are on MTG Vault but I think tappedOut is pretty much better in every aspect.

Hey mate, there are a few of us on here from the UK and from Staffordshire in particular. I am the only one who is active however. And I used to be much more active, but my work blocks pretty much every website lol. We live in Stoke On Trent and there are a few stores that my mates play at. One is Guys that Game. That has a website you can check out. There is another in Stafford that my mates told me about last night called Stafford gaming I believe. They play X Wing and all sorts of World War 1 and 2 games there as well as MTG of course. From what I understand quite a few people play there, both 60 card and EDH. I tend to only play from my dining table with my friends playing EDH as I have parking for 6 cars and a 7ft table so we can play to our hearts content. But they play in the week too, when I am usually too busy. But I am definitely happy to make some extra effort to meet new people and get more games in. Not sure if any of that is of use mate.

My local shop that hosts MTG games is Spirit Games in Burton, but they mainly do paid for drafts rather than casual MTG.
I know the feeling as regards being too busy mid-week to get any games in.
I suppose a possibility would be a pub about half way, maybe in Uttoxeter?

I work there :-). Im sure we could organise something somewhere i think tuesday nights seem to suit my mates, and i know saturdays are good too

Saturdays would probs best for me, as I play badminton on Tuesdays.
Do you know of any suitable pubs in Uttoxeter?
