MTG Arena coming to Macs 6/25

WotC just announced that MTG Arena will be coming to Macs through the Epic Game store starting 6/25, just a few days from now.

I'm excited to be able to play on my laptop, but I'm fully expecting bugs and for it to make my Macbook sound like a jet engine. :D

This is incredible news! As a lifelong Mac user, my inability to play MTGO and more recently MTGA has annoyed the hell out of me so I am incredibly pleased with this change. Looking forward to playing on it!

jconeil1988 I didn't realize Chromebook had its own OS! Are you able to Bootcamp Windows or something similar? That sucks :(

abby315 they run using googles Chrome OS. Super useful and when linking up between devices, I can use google docs and get real time updates between my computer and my phone, and I will always have access to my files, but they're essentially tablets. I'm not tech savy enough to mess with the ins and out.

I’m so excited! I had been running Arena via a custom Wineskin I got off Reddit for a year, and it crashed a lot. Now I won’t have to reboot every 5 minutes and I can play the color challenges!!! I will also be able to access the shop, packs, and mastery tabs for the first time in months!
If anyone wants a random friend on arena, drop your arena ID below and I’ll send you a friend request tomorrow.
The best part of the release on the 25th is that it’ll be perfectly timed with the Arena release of M21!

Oh, for anyone running Linux who wants to play arena, there is a custom wineskin out there. I forget where to find it, but it does exist!

Hyped! Glad they’re expanding (finally). should bring in some new players, now that you can play across more platforms. And the more the merrier ;D
