Building Unstable Set Cube
What Ratio do you think would be most fitting? (Set has: 75 commons, 75 uncommons & 61 rare/mythics - not counting alternate versions)
Do you like the idea of adding a little amount of conspiracy cards for fun? If so, which could you recommmend
I have decided to begin a smaller project, building a cube.
I have always liked the thought of building a set cube, and with Unstable released it seemed like the perfect moment to begin.
In this regard i need to start determining ratio and collecting the cards.
I am most likely going to buy a display and draft it with my friend near christmas and then try to collect as much draft jank i can.
Now to the specs of the Cube.
The Cube will be a set cube with Unstable.
- I have been thinking that I would make the cube a 3:2:1:1 ratio cube giving the cube a total of 436 cards, a good midpoint between an 6-8/8-12 player cube.
What do you think about this ratio, i am still working on how to adjust it a bit to include all the versions of cards like Very Cryptic Command and the 12 other like it.
- With the cube looking to hit close to 540 cards, I was thinking of adding some conspiracy cards for fun. Maybe some draft lands for fixing options or stuff like that.
Any thoughts about this idea, or any suggestions to some fun includes?
I was also thinking about including the Hascon promos and getting the toys for the cards to say "complete" the cube fully. But with that pricetag that might be a very futuristic goal if the cube will reach its completion at some point.
These are my thoughts so far and i hope very much you will help me with building my first cube.
