I mentioned big changes, right? —March 25, 2022

Phyrexian Altar > Aetherflux Reservoir is out! Wow, Aetherflux has been a mainstay of this list since it's original inception. It came from the idea of being able to repurpose all the 0-1 drop Yuriko enablers in the late-game to win the game. In its place I'll be using the Alter/Gravecrawler/Death-Pinger Combo instead. After much in depth discussion on the Yuriko forums with R0bot0, they've convinced me that individually these cards are more useful than the A-flux pieces needed, creating less dead space, at the same time using the same number of slots (they run Rooftop Storm/ Asererek too, however I'm not too keen yet on that plan)

Gravecrawler > Bloodsoaked Champion:

Blood Artist > Reassembling Skeleton:

Phyrexian Delver > Young Necromacer (a swap back to Delver because it's actually a Zombie for Gravecrawler purposes) These swaps round out the combo.

The Meathook Massacre > Submerge I love Submerge, but Forests are getting harder and harder to come by. The ceiling to this card is amazing, but it's floor is "can pitch to Fow". The deck is running dangerously low on removal since I took OG Massacre out a while ago. Meathook acts as a 2nd Blood Artist for our new combo, as well as a flexible removal spell.

Peer into the Abyss > Street Wraith

Nashi has been overwhelmingly great in the list. Flipping Raza/Jin off the top with tutors/Volrath's Stronghold is no joke. Doing the same with PITA will no doubt win the game on the spot. If all else fails, burning for 7 isn't a small number either.

Gingerbrute > Stitcher's Supplier:

Now that Emmy is gone, I can be less mindful of the card types I'm running. Filling the grave faster, and on an enabler is something that I think will only strengthen the consistency of the deck.

Rotting Rats > Radical Idea:

This is a wild card. Radical Idea was a key piece in my Intuition pile. It allowed me to choose for example "Raza, Skeleton, Radical Idea", and when Raza would ultimately be put into my hand, I now have a 1U uncounterable discard (the discard is part of the cost), that would also draw me a card on resolution. Rotting Rats fills a similar role in that pile. Unearth is an activated ability, meaning it's uncounterable too. I also get to discard Raza (as well as making each opponent discard); and as a kicker I get a 1/1 hastey zombie that a) allows Yuriko to get back into action post wrath, b) give me a zombie to combo off with Gravecrawler, and c) gives me an extra body to sacrifice to Raza if I choose to go off that turn.

Malevolent Hermit > Lim Dul's Vault This guy is more terrifying in the gy than originally expected. When cast from the graveyard, noncreature spells you control can't be countered, setting up a potential win with little interaction possible from opponents. A card to keep an eye on for sure.

Mindbreak Trap > Negate

This slot has always been my flex counterspell slot. I'll be giving Mindbreak Trap a go here for a while.

Talisman of Dominance > Felwar Stone

While I've never had issue with Felwar generating the mana I need, I think consistency wins here.
