It was inevitable. There's so much power available in adding this card to the deck. However, I was stuck with the difficult task of taking something out for it. I've played this deck a heckofalot. All of the cards are cards I've included for specific reasons, and I rely on all of them.
But it came down to Call of Unity. It provides a very useful increasing anthem effect, but the cost is just slightly too high. Smothering Tithe will gain me so much more and be useful pretty much regardless of when it hits the battlefield. After seeing its performance in another deck, I knew it was just a matter of time to include it here.
