2 things: 1. Your commander must be a legendary creature. I'd recommend the flip Gideon if you like transforming commanders. 2. You could probably ditch 2-3 lands for other cards.

The Rules I uses for Pauper EDH states that your commander may be any uncommon or common creature.

Safehold Elite and Loyal Cathar are both illegal in this deck since safehold is green and cather when flipped its black
