Below is my former description, Ashling has changed dramatically since.
Description This is a mono Red, EDH deck designed for casual play in a multi-player setting. The goal of this deck is to control the battlefield with earthquakes and Ashling's activated ability. The Primary win condition a huge burn spell to either defeat my opponents or kill us all with a maniacal laugh.

The Plan.
Battlefield Control- Ashling the Pilgrim and Earthquake like effects keep the board clear and lower life totals.
Mana Acceleration - Mana doubling effects like Gauntlet of Might this will help control the board and finish off opponents with step 3.
"X" Damage Spells - Spells like Blaze, when combined with mana acceleration, are great finishers and work well as targeted removal.
Supporting Effects.
Card Draw - It can take a lot of mana and cards to whittle down 40 life on 3 opponents.
Copy Spells - Unexpected bursts of damage are your most likely way of winning.
