Post Flash Ban update (tentative) —April 28, 2020

These updates are my initial thoughts on how this should adjust post Flash ban. Instant speed interaction is less incentivized since Flash is gone, and the weakest of these is easily Red Blast. Grinding Station is the weakest of the Breach combo pieces in my opinion, and as such, I think that it would be better served by another business spell that has more applications. In my experience, my local meta doesn't provide me with enough payoff to make running Mnemonic Betrayal worth it.
I anticipate stax to be coming back with a vengeance following Flash's ousting from the format. As such I am prioritizing more answers to permanents. I think that By Force and Toxic Deluge fit the bill nicely. I could see swapping By Force and Vandalblast. I will be testing this in the future. Isochron Scepter is a favorite card of mine, and synergizes well with several cards in the deck. It's fetchable with Transmute Artifact, and the Dramatic Reversal combo also turns Brain Freeze into a kill against decks that don't run either Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre.
