The most useless commander finnaly made usefull.

First off Mishra, Artificer Prodigy does not seem like he could work in commander being it's a singleton format. The way you can make him work is of course whenever you cast a artifact you could shuffle your library. With the use of Nether Void , Possibility Storm , Planar Chaos, and Blood Funnel you can exploit Mishra's abilty in commander. It works like this, if you have Mishra, Artificer Prodigy on the field and Possibility Storm on the field at the same time you cast Sol Ring both Mishra, Artificer Prodigy and Possibility Storm trigger put Possibility Storm on top of the stack exiling Sol Ring and casting for free the artifact that is next in your deck. Then Mishra, Artificer Prodigy trigers still targeting Sol Ring and grabbing it off the bottom. Finnally it allmost works the same with Nether Void , Planar Chaos, and Blood Funnel by countering your spell and Mishra, Artificer Prodigy gets it out of your graveyard.
With how Mishra's ability reads and triggers he provides loopholes through normally hard to play scenarios. Such as, he allows your artifacts to be "uncounterable," or rather he just doesn't care if they are, since Mishra's a little Cheatyface and will put the card into play anyway.This is because Mishra's ability triggers on the cast, so when your opponent or yourself (as we're about to get into) counters an artifact the counter will resolve first sending the artifact to the graveyard. Mishra's ability then checks and sees "Hey this same artifact is in the graveyard!" and puts it back into play ~insert manical laughter~ with no harm done... to yourself. This creates some fun scenarios that you can set up to give yourself extra resources while shutting your opponents down.

  1. Possibility Storm : The ultimate disruptive element and resource provider. Much like the grave recursion, Mishra will check your deck for the card you cast and retrieve it after Storm grabs you a second shiny artifact out of your deck. Also adds instability for your opponent's since they have little control over what they cast.
  2. Nether Void : This is Nullstone on steriods. This will fuck up any game that it successfully resolves in for anyone who doesn't have an artifact Mishra deck or unlimited mana (which you will have both of.)
  3. Cyclonic Rift: This Card helps in sketchy situations where you just fuck up everything that they have going for them.
  4. Capsize: This card is like Cyclonic Rift but you can keep getting it back to bounce whatever you want whenever.
  5. Planar Chaos: working like Nether Void this enchantment adds a bit of chaos to a game by using luck as a large factor.
  • Praetor's Grasp: This is one of the best cards you can have in the deck if not the best. You can deny your opponent's combo pieces, you can accelerate yourself, really anything you want. Since it has a... delayed trigger of sorts, you can exile something on the first few turns, but wait to cast it until late game or you have the boardstate you want. It's really the bread and butter of what makes Mishra bonkers.
  • Thada Adel, Acquisitor: Thada is a "watered down" creature version of Praetor's Grasp. The reason I say it like that is because she can only grab artifacts and you only get the chance to use them til end of turn. Thada focusing on artifacts really isn't that bad since you'll be focusing on artifacts anyway, but the end of turn restriction makes her a bit trickier to play. At the very least she's almost always a guaranteed Sol Ring, but you can remove problem cards out of an opponent's deck if necessary.
  • Grinning Totem : Artifact version of Grasp with a restriction that it dumps the stolen card into the grave if you don't use it by your next turn. Where Totem can be argued that it's better though is that you can reuse it by bringing it back with Academy Ruins or Daretti, Scrap Savant.
  • Hellkite Tyrant: The only non-cast theft card in my build, but it's too strong a card to ignore with 38 artifacts main deck. Combine that with Mycosynth Lattice to steal an opponent's ENTIRE board.
  • Bribery: This is just too good of a card to ignore. You can take any creature you opponent has in their library and give yourself an extra body being artifact decks usually don't have to many.
  • Aside from the cards you seen in "Using oyur opponents" and "Controlling the board" these are the main cards to slow down your opponent.

    1.Liliana of the Veil: First of we have the infamous Lili veil. Her main use will be her -2 ability to lessen your opponents board state, but at the same time her +1 is also used to hurt their hand while you can discard a artifact to bring back with Daretti, Scrap Savant.

    2.Jace, the Mind Sculptor He is most likely one of my favorite walkers his bounce disrupts the board and he can mess up your opponents draw.

    3. Jester's Cap This card is absolutely amazing, all their is to say about is is that you can just take away your opponents combo pieces.

    4.Sword of Fire and Ice This card simply gives you spot removal and card draw... That's all

    5.Sword of Feast and Famine This card is absolutly amazing making your opponets discard part of their hand and you get to untap your lands to cast more artifacts.

    This deck will either make your opponent scoop or you just blatantly win.1.First is of course is the main combo but aside from that you can just do pure beat-down with Mishra, Artificer Prodigy equiped with Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of War and Peace , Sword of Fire and Ice

    1. You can produce infinite mana with Grand Architect and Pili-Pala. With that mana you can use Capsize and return all of your opponenets permanants to their hands.

    3.Blightsteel Colossus + Whispersilk Cloak Is always fun.

    4.Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve for infinite turns

    5.Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas can just drain someones life out.

    6.Jace, the Mind Sculptor If he bombs on someone its ussually game for them.

    7.Liliana of the Veil can make somone scoop is she bombs.

    8.And i've made pods scoop when I overload Cyclonic Rift late game.
