I’m a MtG player since 2010. I started out with the Green and White Kalonian Behemot 2010 Core Set Intro Pack, but quickly shifted towards a Mono-White deck, which has been my main deck up to this day. In order to keep my first deck alive, I specialized myself in the Modern metagame.

Ajani Goldmane has always been my favorite card and Soul's Attendant has been one of the aces of my Mono-White deck from day one. As such, Lifegain has been my go-to playstyle ever since the beginning.

Hi tchau204, thank you for your suggestion. Martyr of Sands is just too important to give up on her: when in the starting hand, she really speeds up the deck and makes things easy, letting Righteous Valkyrie give +2/+2 to all the creatures and Speaker of Heavens spam Angels from the get-go. Ajani’s Pridemate, which I’d played for years in the past, is just a worse version of Voice of the Blessed. In the future, I may shift towards a completely Souls Sisters-based strategy, and then I would reconsider Ajani’s Pridemate and cut Martyr of Sands. I may as well get to a totally Martyr of Sands-based strategy, and I would even cut Voice of the Blessed in that scenario. Modern Horizons 3 could already be a nice crossroad. For now, the list features the cards that I feel to be more capable of making the difference, and Ajani’s Pridemate just isn’t among them
