Quakebringer Ability

Asked by -TheContagion- 3 years ago

Will multiple instances of Quakebringer on battlefield/in graveyard increase the damage my opponent will take during my upkeep? (provided all conditions are met)

There was some confusion as to the ability being redundant if there were multiple instances of the card.

Thank you in advance.

Each of your Quakebringers will trigger independently, and each ability will resolve and deal 2 damage to each opponent. Triggered abilities, such as this one (the trigger is "beginning of your upkeep), on different cards are never redundant--each will be dealt with and resolve separately.

There are a very limited number of times where multiple instances of the same ability on the same card might be redundant (i.e. two instances of "flying" on the same card is redundant); but that is a completely different set of rules that are irrelevant to your question.
